The International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice (ICEFA) was established in 1967 to commemorate the child victims from the Czech village of Lidice murdered by the German Nazis, as well as other children who had died in wars. Although national initially, this exhibition became an international one in 1973 and since then it has become well known among children and teachers not only in the Czech Republic but literally all over the world. In late years, more than 25,000 very good works of art have been sent regularly by children from the Czech and Slovak republics but also from around the world.
So far, China was mainly represented by art organisations from Hong Kong. This year 3i Art Center participated for the first time and we are honoured and extremely happy to announce that 4 students of 3i Art Center have received honourable mention by the ICEFA. Our winners are: Liu Jiarui (6 years), Wei Yuchen (7 years), Zhou Kanhe (6 years) and Zhou Zijian (6 years). Congratulation to all our winners!
In total, 945 works of art had been submitted by China. As a result, China received 9 medals and 27 honourable mention, distributed to 6 different art schools in Hong Kong, one art school in Changsha, one art school in Wuxi and to 3i Art Center.
We are very satisfied with this result and will keep on going, providing art education to as many children as possible.

尊敬的爱立方学员及家长！
一定很期待爱立方在2013年年初，带领学员参加的“第41届暨2013利迪策国际儿童优秀艺术作品展(ICEFA)”的评选结果！
为此，爱立方组织了首批达到参赛能力的学员，积极准备，进行有效的知识部分导入，查阅大量的历史、文化、民俗、音乐等相关资料。老师和学员们都非常重视自己的这份投入，利用长达60天的时间，前后经过4次以上的调整，有的学员甚至达到7次。经过前期的准备、讨论、选题、起稿创作，整个参赛过程已经不仅仅是一次小小的比赛了，更是头脑风暴、管理自我、坚持不懈的再现，与获奖结果无关。
当然，有了付出我们同样希望有所收获，希望获得认可。我们非常激动地告诉大家，在中国（含台港）地区，共选送了约1000件艺术作品。其中，荣获此次“ICEFA荣誉奖”奖项在整个地区只有27名。而爱立方的学员们则一举拿下4个名额！他们分别是：刘家瑞（6岁）、魏雨辰（7岁）、周看和（6岁）、周子简（6岁），我们真诚祝贺已经获奖的学员。
